On the mission logo- Aerojet reckon this their 250th launch.250th launch of what - Aerojet rocket engines? Phill spaceuk

Although I just returned from the launch, I cannot provide a good answer.It either means 250th time a Delta has flown with aerojet second stage, or the 250th flight of any aerojet engine (such as, they also make the Atlas 5 SRBs). |

nice pics Ben - pleased it got away with MITEX.I found email for PR at Aerojet - waiting answer from them. If I get answer I'll post here. Guess its the 250th launch with aerojet engines aboard. Though Aerojet engines used in many spacecraft as well - Mars craft in particular? Phill spaceuk

An Aerojet press release provides the answer: quote: Today's launch was the 250th Delta launch supported by Aerojet's reliable and versatile second stage storable liquid rocket engines with 100 percent mission success.
