I have a number of contemporary propaganda pamphlets from Novosti Press about Vostok and none of them give the internal volume. The outer diameter of Vostok's manned sphere is 2.3 meters, so that would give you an upper limit for the internal volume.

Thanks anyway. I've read that 2.3 meter diameter a number of times but unfortunately Vostok came at a time when the Russians were vague about giving specifics.

All times are CT (US)
