Shuttle mission that launched with eight crewmen and landed with eight:
  • STS-61A Challenger/F-9 only
Shuttle mission that launched with seven crewmen and landed with eight:
  • STS-71 Atlantis/F-14 only
Shuttle mission that launched with seven crewmen and landed with six:
  • STS-121 Discovery/F-32 only
Shuttle missions that launched with six crewmen and landed with seven:
  • STS-91 Discovery/F-24
  • STS-129 Atlantis/F-31
Shuttle mission that launched with six crewmen and landed with five:
  • STS-76 Atlantis/F-16 only
Rest shuttle missions launched and landed with the same number crewman.

The Skylab Rescue mission, had it flown, would have launched with two crewmen and landed with five.
