Greetings all,
I'm a planetary astophotographer, mainly specializing in Mars and have got to know quite a few others. One is Ralf Vandebergh. He has shot quite a few movies of the ISS, quite impressive. An example...

Others....

If you would like to get on his e-mailing list, he will send out new images/movies as he takes them. You might let him know Joel Warren let you know about it.

regards,
Joel

Very nice!
Here is my latest shot of the ISS with a 12 inch Meade. I still have to figure out the tracking software that will keep the scope aimed at the ISS, but for now I still hand-guide it.

Joel and Tom,

Thanks for the links and pics. That is quite a feat to photograph something moving that fast across the sky, at such a high magnification. I'm impressed.

Tom, that is really great work. I'd love to see a flyover or image of the shuttle docked to the ISS shot that way.

I hope to try that next week when I get back from seeing the shuttle launch in Florida. I do have some shots of the ISS/Shuttle from several years ago. See my website here - http://www.eastsideastro.org/observatory/spacecraft.html

I know I've said it before Tom but the images on your site are just incredible.

Cheers,
Matt
