Great photos! My wife and I watched the ISS go over here in Guyton, which is about 30 miles NW of Savannah GA (at 6:25 PM lasted 3 min came out of the WSW and went right over top of us and faded into the NNE ). It was very bright and through some modeate power binoculars, you could see that it had a long shape with protubences. It was fantastic and to think we saw the Space Shuttle part of this cluster lift off near this time last week!

My father and I watched ISS pass over 88 degrees last night at 6:48 after 6 pm local news mention it.

sky wasn't clear though however the brightness was visiable through the thin layers of the clouds

My teenage daughter and I were watching the EVA on computer around 5:30pm this evening and then we stepped outside about 5 minutes later to watch them fly over. Even though we live in a high-tech, instant access palm pilot world, it was amazing to realize that the EVA we were watching was actually happening "right there!" on that very bright dot moving across the sky!

Best,
Bruce

I saw the ISS/Discovery combo fly over my hometown of Herington, KS last evening about 6:10pm. This was the first time I've seen ISS so close to a 90 degree overhead flyover. It is amazing how much brighter it is since the P3/P4, P5 and the orbiter has made ISS appear. About the time that ISS was visible was nearly the same time that the two astronauts were getting the P6/4B wing retracted.

One of these days I'll get another chance to photograph them with my backyard observatory. I've just had bad luck with weather the last few missions and can't see the sky.
Last week we had the ultimate windstorm here in Seattle as you may have heard. I didn't lose power, and just got my phone/internet back this morning after 5 days.
I did get out and had a chance to use the telescope the other night. First time since Halloween night!
