If Anna Fisher (Group 8 Nasa), who is back on "flying status", is chosen for a shuttle mission, she will become the only astronaut to fly the shuttle before the Challenger and after the Columbia accidents. I believe Hawley, Lucid, and Chang-Diaz are all in NASA management positions at this time, and are not eligible to fly. |

Or unless Dunbar gets another flight. All she needs is a Discovery flight and she'll be the only other one to fly all five flight orbiters. |

Hart...Dunbar, is also assigned to a management position in NASA, but if she flew again (in Discovery) she would join Story Musgrave as the only crewmembers to fly all 5 shuttle orbiters.[This message has been edited by Tom (edited March 12, 2005).] | |
