Thank you to everyone here, especially Robert, for all of the posts that have to do with the Apollo 11 50th anniversary. It is invaluable to have one go-to location for all of the events, memorabilia, books, etc. that are being created for this special anniversary.

This website and the people on here are truly wonderful.

Thank you again. I know I would be missing out on so much if it weren't for collectSPACE.

In addition to the terrific event notification and coordination that happens on cS — particularly now around the 50th anniversary of the first moonlanding — the immense collection of expertise and direct experience that springs forth from cS on a daily basis makes this one of the best websites on the net.

(And for the most part, people are pretty civil here...how many websites can claim that kind of polite community?!)

Indeed it is, Fred. The site officially went online on July 20, 1999.

I'll have a bit of news to share soon as to how we're going to mark the 20th anniversary.
