As an artist of some skill in illustration, I'd love to do some work for the NASA art program (I never even knew it existed until I was at Kennedy Space Center in September and heard about it there). The problem is, if you go to the NASA webpage, you'll find all kinds of references to it except how to be a part of it. Does anyone have a clue who to contact about this? I've spent so much time trying to find info on how to submit work, I really think it's not on their website at all. |

My understanding is that the NASA Art Program commissions artists, rather than accepts submissions. NASA invites notable artists (200+ to date) to participate. |

Okay, if so, how do you get on the radar for them to be aware of you at all? That's what I really want to know. | |
