Last night, "Fighting Gravity," a black-light illusion performance group featuring 13 Virginia Tech students who are all brothers of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, won a place in the finals of NBC's "America's Got Talent" with this Apollo-inspired act:

I've been watching this season and thought these guys would definitely make it far. They're really a unique act and are now in the final four, out of over 100,000 entries. They scream the Las Vegas act the show is looking for, and to think they've only been performing since spring of '09 must make it an unbelievable experience for them.

They and the other three remaining acts will perform live once more next Tuesday with the winner announced during the finale airing Wednesday.

I saw these guys perform in San Diego last night - they were incredible, and received a standing ovation.
