On behalf of my family, I would like to announce the arrival of the newest member of Red Sox Nation, cS and the Youngest Young Astronaut. My grandson Tyler was born tonight at 7:39PM. He tipped the scales at 7lb 3oz and is 18.5" tall. A very punctual young man, it was announced last December that he would arrive on August 7th and by God he did just that. Both mother and son are doing well. Now he can join me in watching the launch from his hospital room tomorrow night. Tim |

Congratulations Tim! Awesome news!!So..... were you and your new grandson able to watch that picture-perfect launch together tonight from the hospital room?? I truly hope so, because I actually thought of you two right at that time! No kidding. The clock was counting down, I was on the edge of my seat going crazy, and just as the SRBs kicked in I suddenly thought, "WOW! I bet Tyler's eyes are bugging out at this!!!!!" One day old, seeing his first launch... now that's an auspicious start in life! Tim, I wish you and Tyler every happiness. Anne

Congratulations on a great event! A baby really is a wonderful happening for a family. That is a wonderful photo of Tyler. All the VERY best to Tyler, his Mom and Dad and you you and your family!! I only I wish I knew today's players.I have not been in baseball since 1983 when I ran the Orioles Visiting Clubhouse. We had players like: Eckersley, Ojeda, Tudor, Tudor, Boggs, Rick Miller, Evans and the great Carl Yastrzemski! Zimmer, Pescky & Doer were coaches and Houk was the Manager, Fisk was with the White Sox by then. They were a great bunch of guys. God Bless, Mike Zolotorow |
