Robert,I noticed that you have Weird Al Yankovic as a friend on your myspace. So, did you add Weird Al? Or, did Weird Al add you? ;-)

Same question, since it's Weird Al official mySpace, the fact that he added you as a'friend' means it's him of at least his staff ? I wonder which show biz star apart T.Hanks is a known space fan... |

While exploring myspace.com, I came across Weird Al's site and asked to be added to his friend list (my thinking: it would be good exposure for collectSPACE to be on his friend list). As it happens, "he" was online at that moment and approved the request. I believe a few of the "friends" that followed were as a result of seeing cS on Weird Al's list. I'd like to think that Weird Al himself manages his myspace page and saw collectSPACE (the website, not the myspace page) as a result, but its more likely just a staff member approving all friend requests. I know of a couple of famous musicians who read (or have read) collectSPACE based on e-mails I have received from them, but Weird Al is not among them (yet). |

Must be this, since Weird Al is currently enjoying his best ever chart position (he's in the Billboard Single Top ten) for a Single and an Album, I doubt that he's got much time to spend online (even for Cs :-).On the subject, Charlie Duke and a few others were kind enough to give me their business cards with email (in the 2003 Washington Convention), I wonder if celebs have to change emails often, and if they're still valid. The usual spam PLUS the fans mails must be hard after a while. |

I was asking because I like Weird Al, and well, was thinking space fans might actually be weirder than I ever imagined.....------------------ 385th Bombardment Group (H) |

cS is joining myspace!! lol, thats pretty funny. Yes, it's true 90 percent of teenagers have myspace, and another interesting thing, i heard myspace got more hits than google last year... what that exactly says about my generation im not sure... |

If nothing else, maybe having a MySpace site will get more young people interested in space. But then again, I only hear bad things about that site all the time. Seems that school attack articles always mention Myspace.com these days.Kids, there is a world outside. Turn off the internet and go outside and play! *sigh*
