In my high school, I'm thinking about forming a space enthusiasts club. Any ideas on the name?

You might look into forming a chapter of the national organization, SEDS: Students for the Exploration and Development of Space. SEDS chapter get involved in on orbit experiments.

If you're thinking of forming a less formal club then you can check Greek Mythology, names of science vessels (ie: Endeavour) or names of astronautrs from New York.

Good Luck and have fun,

Tim

Any ideas Url????? Besides the obvious "Guys with no Dates" ..... ( I'm just kidding you Fra..I hope your club really takes off. It's rare that High School age kids care about Spaceflight..at least that's what my 17 yr old daughter says..) I like "Taking up SPACE"

In college, our SEDS group (MSEDS - Maryland Students for the Exploration and Development of Space) used the slogan:

SPACE IS COOL (-270° C)

Since you are in high school, how about:

SPACE IS HIGH (62 miles)

(On second though that might be a bit too counter-culture, un-PC for today's public schools.)

Of course that doesn't answer your name problem, but MSEDS didn't stand on its own either.
