Hi,
I've been reading First on the Moon by three guys named Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins. For some reason a part of the flight transcript struck my funny bone. One morning CAPCOM was reading the morning news to the crew. There was a story about a guy winning the world oatmeal eating contest. Mike Collins made a comment that they should enter Buzz in the contest. CAPCOM asked about Buzz's breakfast. Buzz answered that he was still eating his oatmeal. Mike then piped in and said that Buzz was on his 19th bowl. Not sure exactly why I thought this was so funny, but it did it for me for the rest of the day. Has anyone else come across any other bits of space nonsense that you'd care to share?

Mikie, sounds like one of those "had to be there" items.

Oh, how I wish I had been!
