Does anyone have a copy on videotape of Bill "Jose Jimenez" Dana doing his act at JFK's Inauguration Ball from 1961? When Milton Berle introduced "the first American in space" at the party, my uncle Bill came out and did his Jose Jimenez act. At first everyone thought it was John Glenn (he had on a helmet with the visor down). I have seen a very short clip of this before that includes a brief cutaway of JFK and Jackie laughing hysterically. I thried the Kennedy Center in DC, but they said they didn't have it. I'm trying to get the full clip of this for uncle Bill.Any leads would be appreciated. Best, Bruce |

Hi John,JFK's inauguration was on January 20, 1961 and Al Shepard's flight on Freedom 7 wasn't until May 5, 1961. Up until the scrub of Freedom 7's first launch attempt, the rumor mill had John Glenn picked as the most likely candidate to take the first ride for the USA. Best, Bruce |
