Very interesting article in the July issue of Air & Space Magazine entitled "The Goodbye Guys" about the Shuttle closeout crew. A sidebar was a listing of items carried by shuttle crews during launch. Among the items listed was a "G-Shock Watch". I know these are made by Casio; my daughter has one. Anyone out there know if there is a particular model G-Shock worn by the shuttle astronauts? Thanks for the help and for those in USA, enjoy the 4th.

Steven

Watch (no pun intended) the next issue of Ad Astra (the magazine of the National Space Society) for an article about astronauts' watches.

Not sure about which G-Shock is wore, but add to that list the Timex IronMan too.

All times are CT (US)
