The Air & Space Museum's 2001 calendar hangs on the wall next to my desk. July has a large picture of Jim Irwin saluting the flag at Hadley (great photo). The small insert photo shows a CSM with the Moon as a backdrop. The caption, in part, reads: "Here, the Apollo 8 capsule is poised over the Moon," AND "Apollo 8 Module over Moon." Really guys, who was taking the picture then? :-) The picture is actually of the second CSM to reach orbit, good old Charlie Brown.

Must be taken by the Lost Cosmonauts!
If you haven't heard the stories about that, check this site. Same kind of thing as Fox Networks Apollo hoax! http://www.lostcosmonauts.com
