I'm the Busch Series editor for NASCAR Winston Cup Scene, a weekly national trade publication covering the sport. I've written a book about the history of the division called "Second To None" which will be available in late August-early September.
My wife and I have an agreement that if the book reaches 10,000 in sales, I'll be able to purchase Alan Bean's "In The Beginning" multisigned print. Keep your fingers crossed for me, and, hey, if you're a race fan, BUY THE BOOK!!! It'll be available at amazon.com, bn.com and all major bookstores.
Sorry for the shameless self-promotion, but I've wanted that doggone print for years. The only thing I'd want more is an original moonwalker's spacesuit. :-)

As a HUGE NASCAR fan myself (I'm a PSL season ticket owner at Texas Motor Speedway since before the track opened) I congratulate you on your book. Any possibility of getting signed copies direct from you or a local bookstore near your home?
