For any interested parties,I have located a 73 minute audio CD of original BBC / NASA coverage of the flight of Apollo 11.It is actual NASA transmissions as well as commentary as done by the BBC.The quality is excellent! It is available by going to www.amazon.com .In "search mode" for "album title" key in Apollo 11.There are 2 listed but it is the cheaper of the 2 at 13.99 (NOT THE IMPORT)there are 25 tracks listed. This will then bring up the CD called "Apollo 11 Moon Landing".The CD covers from pre-flight to post -flight.The BBC television audio/NASA audio coverage is from July 16 to July 24, 1969.It's price is $13.99.I found this CD quite by accident and am totally delighted with it.There must be somebody else out there that would enjoy it as much as I do.I never knew it existed!! Best to all...Donald Brady *** This post was modified after "outerspace" kindly replied to the original post and discovered that CD Now no longer has this item in stock and is showing a backordered condition since I got mine.A subsequent search reveals that Amazon.com has the item as well and in stock. Thanks "Outerspace"...it is appreciated!!...Donald

This sounds like a great CD, but I looked at the cdnow.com site, and the CD is listed as $21.99 and backordered with no ship date. Any ideas?

I just looked at amazon.com's site. Apparently, there are two listings for the CD, and the more expensive one ($21.99) is for an import CD. I can't tell if there is any substantive difference between the two. Anyone know?

Outerspace....After reading your reply I checked it again. It comes up just as I said at 13.49 however you are correct about the item being backordered. I went to the Amazon.com site and they have it !! In stock!! When you go to search ,go to search for album title and key in Apollo 11.The CD I am talking about is 13.99 one on this site... still a good price! Good Luck...you will enjoy it!!...Donald
