Responding to reporters questions as to how he lost his eye after a sea gull dropped some white-wash in his eye, Capt. Morgan responded "Aye matey, t'was the first day after I got me hook".

Following in the best pirate tradition, I prefer to say I plundered the line!

Best I set sail on the good ship Tealeaf now lest Mr Blackarrow tries to splice my mainbrace!

Definitely an eye-catcher. I'm beginning to think there may be a flown copy of Treasure Island among his possessions!

For those of us who have been watching "Boardwalk Empire" on HBO this fall, this image is more than a little creepy! (One character lost part of his face and his left eye in WWI and he has a mask with a drawn-on eye - same eye, same effect.)

All times are CT (US)
