Did you all know that a FOURTH astronaut died in the Apollo 1 fire?? Uh.....yeah. I like this radio show cause the guests can be really cool or sometimes the guests are REALLY out there. Like this one... Looks like we weren't being told quite a bit.. http://www.coasttocoastam.com/shows/2006/05/11.html#recap |

You should take this guy seriously. He is exactly right. I know for a fact he is and I can prove it. I just hope I have time to finish typing this message before they can s ![](http://collectspace.com/ubb/smile.gif) |

I travel most of the world for a living and sometimes get back to Houston at 1 or 2 in the morning. This show is on at that time and I sometimes listen to it as I drive back from the airport. It is amazing just how seriously this stuff is taken by so many people. And I don't think there's any real point in arguing with them.I usually get a laugh out of it, but part of me just feels frustrated that there are so many lies floating around out there that just can't be dealt with in a reasonable manner. Clearly there is money to be made or the show wouldn't be on. |

And we didn't hear about it because he was a member of the "secret astronaut core". Hmm. That's got to be serious! ![](http://collectspace.com/ubb/smile.gif) |

The "Richard Hoagland" reported in this article was my downstairs neighbor when I lived in Weehawken NJ about a decade ago. He once worked as a science advisor to Walter Cronkite but gave that up to lecture on how NASA was covering up what he found on mars, a face in the rocks and a pyramid that was orintated the same way as the ones in Egypt. This proved, he claimed, that aliens had in fact built the pyramids in Egypt. My other neighbors there, Rainbow and Echo (I can't make this stuff up ! He was a magician and she was a face painter) played a great trick on him. One morning there was a pounding on my door, it was Richard wanting to take a photo from our rear window of the back yard. it had recently snowed and "the aliens" had returned marking a design in the pristine snow. (like the wheat fields in England) Eventually rainbow admitted that it he had done it. Gotta ! Clifford |

I actually like this show and listen when I can. I like that they will have serious guests talking about serious topics and they also have whackos with all sorts of conpiracy theories. It's the radio version of reading a comic book under the bedcovers at night with a flashlight. ![](http://collectspace.com/ubb/smile.gif) |

I also see that Lear is a retired airline pilot. Doesn't it make you feel safe knowing that he's not an ACTIVE airline pilot? And don't you feel scared wondering what the other active airline pilots believe?? |

I could care less as long as they get me from Point A to Point B in one piece. ![](http://collectspace.com/ubb/smile.gif) |
