If so, how far are the beaches ?
Any Spaceflight or Astronomy related places nearby ?

How far is it from Amsterdam? I visited Leiden by train a while back and I understand I wasn't too far away from there.

Steve, Noordwijk is about an hour from Amsterdam (by car).

I live at about half a mile from the seashores in Belgium in an 'Art Nouveau' style town where the great Albert Einstein lived in 1933 before he left to the USA...
Besides the house where he lived, the Earth Explorer 'museum' (opened by Belgian astronaut Dirk FRIMOUT) is 5 miles away, the Astronomy Observatory of 'medieval' Brugge is about 10 miles away ;-)

The town I live in is called Oceanside so... yes.
