Without access to satellite tv dish (thereby able get NASA Tv) best bets will be:-

BBC News24 (digital freeview Ch40)
ITN (digital freeview ch41)
Main news bulletins at 10pm (BBC1,ITN)

Webcasts from NASA,Spaceflightnow and other sites. The crew enter at about 1230pm KSC time (17:30pm BST) .

On radio try Voice of America or AFN (American Forces Network)- they usually carry launches live .

It will be just before 9pm our time UK (20.50 BST)( 3:50pm KSC EDT) if on time.

Launch windows move back in a range from 20-30 minutes or so for each day launch postponed.

Optimum time for launches is when the ISS is in a suitable orbital plane position for easier rendezvous/docking .

Hi

I think that NASA TV online is the best bet.

Thanks for the heads up Phil & Gareth

Seems such a shame that this country doesn't seem to think that the Space Program is that important, i know the science channel in the states is going to give good coverage just cannot understand why we can't do the same.

Once again thanks for your reply's

Today, both News 24 and Sky News were carrying the Shuttle launch live on their interactive news multiscreen services. Unfortunately, today, I got home in time to open a beer, press the red interactive button and then settle back as the launch was scrubbed and the crew egressed. Still, I watchedd it as far as the elevator doors closing!

All times are CT (US)
