If you're the sort of person who's into this sort of thing, the Moon will eclipse Jupiter in the morning from around 3 a.m. CST for around an hour or so, depending on where you are.

Hi David

Yes definitely like looking at these events.
Keep the 'heads-up' coming :-)

It was early dawn morning event here in UK (AM 7th Dec). I don' th think it was an eclipse event for us from our viewing positions anyway - I'll have run some of the planetarium softwrae check.

I'd be out there with my scope, but we are cheated out of this in Seattle. Even if we could see it, the clouds are in the way as usual.

In UK it wasn't an 'eclipse' - we missed out on it by a few degrees this time around.
