After the Apollo 1 fire does anyone know how long it took to repair the White Room and other areas of Pad 34? I would like to know exactly what was done and if there are any photos.

I always thought the pad was abandoned after the Apollo 1 fire.

The first Return to Flight mission - Apollo 7 was launched from Pad 34 in October, 1968.

If I recall from Mark's Apollo 1 DVD set, the primary damage to the white room and surrounding area itself was superficial. Burn marks and melted wires were prevalent. The pad leader's (Babbit's) desk caught fire and flammable materials inside were ignited. But as far as extreme structural damage there seemed to be little on the white room and pad itself. I would assume life support feeds (connected by not turned on at the time of fire) as well as communications wires which directly attached to the spacecraft were likely melted or destoryed. I have seen several videos of the CM being removed from the Saturn stack and service module and there did not appear to be significant damage to the service module or level 7 of the gantry. I think Mark from Spacecraft films could clarify further.

Maybe Stephen Clemmons will know? (Anything Apollo 1 related he's bound to have some idea on.)

There are very few photos of the pad right after the fire.

All times are CT (US)
