Author Topic:   John Glenn's FAI license to orbit the Earth Lou Chinal Member Posts: 1332 From: Staten Island, NY Registered: Jun 2007 posted 06-02-2009 10:36 AM                I remember reading a long time ago that the Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) issued John Glenn a sport license to orbit the Earth. Does anyone know if this practice continued? Did Carpenter get one? Do they still do it today?
