NASA TV is airing a new webcast this week, "Skylab: A Home Above Our Home Planet" about the United States' first space station:

You can also watch it online via NASA's website.

Thanks for the post! That's a nice, albeit short, overview.

I must say, I'm looking forward to the Spacecraft Films SkyLab set. Maybe later this year ...

A very nice piece indeed! I always thought that the a fourth mission to Skylab should have been flown instead of the ASTP.

Robert, thanks for posting that video.

I too am looking forward to the Skylab Spacecraft Films set. I know much less about the Skylab program than all of the other programs, and watching that video reminds me of how great Skylab truly was.

I also feel that from a collecting standpoint, Skylab items can still be had for great prices when compared to the other programs. Great bargains to be had relating to Skylab!

Thanks, Jay
