Hey all, just created this stereo view of the area ahead of the landed Challenger at Taurus-Littrow. The photos were taken by Gene and Jack through the left and right windows. So the distance does not really match the human eye distance, it is much larger. Nevertheless the 3d effect is interesting! If you are not familiar with cross-eye viewing method take a look here.

Thanks! I was really able to get a new sense of the undulating landscape there that I had not previously appreciated. Good stuff!

Great! Didn't the lunar explorers regularly take stereoscopic photo's? If so are they available?
