I'm having a hard time finding some specific information regarding Apollo 9 image AS09-21-3183 when the LM is in landing configuration. Can anyone identify an exact mission elapsed time for this photo? Or if not, a general MET for this series of images on magazine 21/B? I know it was photographed on March 7, 1969 but that is a wide window. Could anyone help me find a more specific time? Thanks! |

Okay, thanks to a great link from TLIGuy (thanks again!), I believe I've been able to narrow it down to between 098:40:00 MET, when "formation flying and photography" began and 099:02:26 MET when the CSM and LM docked in preparation to jettison the ascent stage. That brings me to a 22 minute window, which is great! But does anyone have any information that might get me closer to the exact time? |

By the way, who spotted the need for the LM thruster deflector panels? Was it Jim McDivitt? | |
