Does anybody know where I can find some information/description about the flight controller positions at MCC during the Apollo days?

What exactly do you mean with "flight controller positions"?

The seating arrangement in the MOCR? Wikipedia describes it.

Or do you think of the shifts? The NASA Book "Apollo By The Numbers" gives some information.

I know that Sy lived it in person at MCC. Maybe he can help me out on some more details?

Thanks for the links. The link about the seating arrangement is very helpful but I would like to know more details about each position at.

Does anybody know more details about the positions?

If you want a complete description of each position in the MOCR, SPAN and the MER at Mission Control. You should pick up APOLLO by Cox and Murray.

If you want some idea of what it was like in the MOCR, then read EECOM by Sy Leibergot and Failure is not an Option by Gene Kranz.

This may help: However, these FCR positions/responsibilities are for the present, not Apollo-era.

Is there any reference to the controller stations for Mercury Control detailed enough to make a sim out of it?

All times are CT (US)
