I picked up this Apollo 11 crew signed photo as part of an autograph lot a long time ago. It has clearly seen sunny days (as did most of the items in the lot) but you can still kind of see them.

I tried to find a similar piece and came up empty handed. Is there a market for these and, if so, what would be a ballpark value for it? Because of the condition, I don't want to go through the hassle of having it authenticated; Besides, I am downsizing.

Any advice/opinions would help!

I'm struggling to make out any signatures at all. I think sadly it will have little to no value. I think it is too badly faded and not restorable.

I am seeing some ink strokes over Aldrin, however, I can't make them out and they look odd for the most part of what an Aldrin autograph should resemble. Of course, though, I really shouldn't say anything as the whole signature is so badly faded. So disregard this post of mine.

Sadly, in my experience, the signatures have been exposed to natural light over too long a period. They will simply continue to deteriorate and eventually vanish entirely.

All times are CT (US)
