There is a new website offering space merchandise and memorabilia by the NASA Exchange at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The space agency's "on-base" store outlet is offering Space Age collectibles on their online site, which includes some limited time-offered space merchandise at MyNASAStore.com.In addition to a large range of space souvenirs and collectibles, they are offering "a limited edition coin series (only 50 of each design) that features crewed missions launched from KSC." Last year's "stamped" Crew-1 flight medallion is still available. The coin for Demo-2, which was the first crew launch from Florida/KSC soil in nearly nine years, will be available soon.
The good folks at NASA Exchange hope to have a limited edition series of posters featuring the different NASA space centers by artist Neal Williams and Oxcart Assembly. Williams is a renowned poster artist for music, film, festivals and other venues. The posters, screen printed on a higher quality 100-pound paper, will become available at the different NASA field centers. The first center that will be offering the special posters will be NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory at Pasadena, California, for the upcoming Mars Perseverance landing this month.
A new series of NASA T-shirts is already another monthly feature, with the first shirt in the series already offered for New Year's 2021. Next up will be a Valentine's Day themed NASA shirt and a St. Patrick's Day shirt will be issued in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis.
Be sure to check out the website for some unusual and unique NASA space items as well, direct from the NASA Exchange crew at KSC. Anyone is allowed to purchase from the site as you don't have to be a KSC employee. However, NASA Exchange can only mail-ship online orders within the USA.
