I purchased this item from an estate sale in Huntsville, Alabama some time ago. I'd prefer it to be in the collection that would appreciate it more than me, as I don't collect space memorabilia.
Anyway, I did speak with the gentleman who received this certificate's wife. She said that he worked (in some capacity) for Wernher von Braun and that she had already sold most of his items. She also included a picture of he and von Braun together (attached). I don't know if the von Braun signature on the certificate is a facsimile or hand-written.
Anyway, any suggestions or advice on this would be appreciated. Any idea of a fair market value for this? Thanks in advance!

That participation certificate was pre-printed on that parchment paper with the recipient's name filled in by a staff calligrapher. This one is looking its age and in kind of rough shape. Awards like this in prime condition go for about $35.
Is there any writing on the back of the B&W photograph? Also, depending on condition, that 8X10 is probably worth more that the accompanying NASA 10th Anniversary presentation piece.
Together they are very nice desirable find.

Thanks for the info! There isn't any writing on the back of the photograph, but it is in really great condition. What do you think would be a reasonable asking price for the pair?
