What would be best for an astronaut autographing a Blu-ray? Signing the sleeve or pulling out the cover from the plastic holder and the putting it back in the cover?

If you're going for a Sharpie, I'd take the cover out of the sleeve and get it signed. Not sure it would be such a good idea with paint pens though, in case the signature sticks at some point when it's back in the cover.

Alternatively, if there's a paper sleeve over the Blu-ray, have the astronaut sign that. If the DVD isn't meant to be played, have them sign the DVD directly and frame with the sleeve art.
