I'd like to add an autograph of Pavel Belyayev to my collection but I don't have a ton of experience with them. Here are a couple I found on eBay and wanted to see what you guys thought of them. Do they look authentic? The seller has a lot of Soviet/Russian autos for sale... does anyone know if the seller is reputable? Feedback looks good. |

I have bought cosmonaut autographs from Oleg for a number of years with no problems. He is excellent to deal with but be aware postage from Russia is extremely slow. If you are prepared to work with that then he is well worth dealing with and buying from. |

Both autographs are perfectly fine as well. Oleg also. He is a very reliable person, here is a matter of clear and without fear, too!

I have also bought some autograph material from Oleg, met him once, and have occasionally viewed his cosmonaut material on eBay. He would certainly be considered an honest seller, with years of experience. But he is a seller and obtains his material from various sources, mainly in Russia. His more recent cosmonaut material, mainly relating to Mir and ISS, obviously comes from reputable sources and those interested in it can bid with confidence. But with early cosmonaut autograph material, especially of the early deceased cosmonauts, such as Gagarin, Komarov, Belyayev, Levchenko and Volkov, obviously originating many years earlier, needs to be bid on carefully and questions asked about their origin and if a qualified cosmonaut autograph authority has been asked by the seller to analyze the autographs. I'm sure that Oleg would be glad to provide information on these two Belyayev autographs, and any other such autographs, and give info on where he obtained them and if they have been checked out by a qualified cosmonaut autograph authority. I do not believe that Oleg would present himself as a cosmonaut autograph expert. |
