Has anyone had any experience with this seller? There appears to be lots of Russian space memorabilia on this shop. Any background?

I have been following his listings for a few years and he often offers strange versions of gloves. They may be prototypes, they may be versions that I am not familiar with or they may be copies created with spare parts. His listings however never explain why a particular glove does not look right.

To illustrate my point, see this alleged Orlan glove. The green grip has a different shape than usual with wide gaps between the pieces of plastic. The thread used to attach the grip pieces is white, but its color should be closer to the color of the grip. The metal ring is blue (like on Sokol gloves) when it should be light gray. The flap seems much shorter than usual, it is supposed to extend up to the wrist. The seams are not right either.

I bought some interesting items off this seller a few years back. My advice would be to avoid anything that looks new/strange and concentrate on older items - I got some slightly tatty sokol gloves for a very low price!

Personally, I'd stay away. Within the past week, jangospace canceled active bids on a Russian Penguin suit then closed the auction.

jangospace then relisted the auction, allowed bids to be placed, again canceled those bids, and closed the auction a second time.

Maybe because the bids were not going high enough? It's still shady in my opinion.

All times are CT (US)
