Just noticed these listed on eBay:
These are original wood shingles from Astronaut Virgil I (Gus) Grissom's boyhood home. Only one shingle is being sold at a time and will be shipped to you with a certificate of authenticity. Proceeds from this sale are being used for the Gus Grissom Boyhood Home.

These shingles and seeds from a tree that grows in front of the home (which was germinated from seeds flown on a space shuttle mission) are part of a on-going fundraiser for the Gus Grissom Childhood Museum. The seeds are also listed on eBay.

There is not much of a description of Grissom's shingles on eBay. And, there is only one terrible picture of one (?) shingle and the photo cannot be enlarged. What is the provenance of the item? Better pictures on eBay would help. What size are they, etc.?

These are being sold by the museum itself, so the provenance is solid. If you have questions, I am sure they will be happy to answer them either through eBay or their Facebook page (linked above).
