I just bought an unusual framed display of Apollo patches and an identical display sold at Heritage Auctions in 2009. You can see the patches here.

My question is, did this display sell for so much money because it belonged to Ron Evans, or is this what these displays sell for normally?

Thanks for your help.

Because it belonged to Ron. It was offered to Astro-Auction a few years ago, but we refused it, because we never thought it would sell, especially since we had one bigger, nicer, and cheaper one for sale.

All times are CT (US)
