I am not looking to buy this, but does it not look like a bad attempt at tracing a signature. |

I agree...it looks too much like someone's mediocre attempt at a forgery, possibly by tracing.Covers, in particular, lend themselves to attempts at tracing. Potential buyers should always look for hesitation marks on signed covers. A traced signature will often lack the natural flow of an authentic signature. |

My first thought upon seeing it is that it looks like it's signed by "Gun Gronison".I don't recall ever getting that initial impression when seeing any authentic Grissoms. |

Maybe they really needed a gun gonison autograph. If you noticed the bidders identities were hidden. I know Ebay does some measure of this, but when I question a piece, I look at what the other bidders have bid on in the past. If they have only bid on baseball cards, and football helmets or have a 13 feedback score then I tend to back away. If the people have been bidding on space items, I look at it more closely. |
