I have recently acquired a Presentation from the STS-51A shuttle mission. This is a framed grouping that contains a photograph of the crew and hand signed by all members as well as the Administrator of National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Details: - Presented to The Honorable Trent Lott, Minority Whip, House of Representatives
- From The National Aeronautics & Space Administration
- Hand signed by James M. Beggs, Administrator
- Hand signed by Commander Frederick H. Hauck
- Hand signed by Pilot, Dave Walker
- Hand signed by Mission Specialists: Anna L. Fisher, Joseph P. Allen and Dale A.Gardner
- Official Mission patch
- Nice sized United States flag
- Mission Patch and flag with note "This patch and flag were flown aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery during the first satellite recovery mission STS (51-A) November 8-16, 1984.
Does anyone have any idea as to the worth of this piece and/or the best way to go about selling it? I spoke to the Space Store and they kindly referred me to this forum. I really know little about these things and would like for this to go to someone who better appreciates it. Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated. You may contact me through the forum and also through email mealston@gmail.com or onesisterof2@yahoo.com. |

Well, your buy it now price on eBay is about $1,500 more than what this presentation is worth... Trent Lott or not. Good luck with your sale. | |
