I received an extensive collection of original NASA press kits and press releases from a friend of the family. The documents are all from the 1964-1969 time period. Since we are not collectors of space memorabilia I would like to sell the documents. I'm hoping you experts can assist me by answering some questions.
1) Is Ebay the best place to sell these documents? 2) Is there a "price guide" for current prices on NASA press kits and publications? If not, how do I go about setting starting bids (or reserves) if I sell on Ebay? I've done Google and Ebay searches on a lot of the early press kits and can't find any previous sales. 3) Should I sell the documents on an individual basis or group in lots? For example, I thought I would sell an Apollo press kit by itself. For the individual press releases, I would group a number of them together and sell as a lot. 4) Should I wait until after Labor Day to list on Ebay in order to get the most money for my auctions? 5) How do you suggest shipping press kits in order to minimize the risk of damage during shipping? Would a bubble envelope with pieces of cardboard inside to add support be sufficient? 6) Finally, I have one specific price question. What is the going rate for an Apollo 11 Preliminary Science Report (SP-214)? I found other Apollo reports online but not an 11.
Thanks!

Sniggle- I would be interested in any replies you get. I have many press kits of missions launched 1972-1980's. Most unmanned satellites science, communications and navigation satellites. With the press kits I have a launch cover autographed by a project official. Please feel free to email me with any information you think could interest me.
