Recently acquired about 150 envelopes from Harry Gordon's estate. These are scarce carried as favors by test pilots in the 1950s. Most are autographed by the likes of Bob Rahn (Douglas), Tex Johnson (Boeing), JE Weber (Glenn Martin), and Tony LeVier (Lockheed). Aircraft including A3D, A4D, F4D, A-11, YB-52, B-57, RB-66, F-84, F-94, F-100 F-101, F-102 and F-104. Check out American Astrophilately, I'll have the first batch up by tomorrow. |

Thanks for the orders to date. A good customer who bought the F-104G cover illustrated in the post got me thinking. While the documentary cachet is in the pilot's hand, the name is not written in cursive. I told Tim this made me consider this not autographed. If students are no longer learning cursive are we in for a future without autographs? |

Nice cover David. The fact that the pilot's autograph is not in cursive doesn't bother me a bit. | |
