For sale, astronaut Don Peterson's STS-6 mission patch worn on his coveralls for launch and landing on space shuttle Challenger's maiden mission in April 1983. The patch is mounted as part of the original framed presentation made to Peterson by NASA's Man-Systems Division.
The display was purchased directly from Peterson's estate and will include a letter stating as much. I have enjoyed owning it, but I really have no where to display it.
Paul Weitz's presentation from the same mission sold for $1,792.50. I am asking $1,350 plus shipping, or best offer. Contact me with questions or to purchase.
