Looking to buy one of these Hasselblad data module assemblies. Must have parts removal tag and mission chronology. They have surfaced at Goldberg auctions a couple of times. |

I have one with 911 tag. I'm sure it was flown, however I have no flight history. |

I have several that came from JSC. All were flown, but no flight info. |

GSA has a bad habit of selling what would appear to be and most likely are flown items with not paperwork at all. Not sure why when the flight date paperwork would increase their sale amount on most items. |

From NASA's perspective, if an item is an artifact, it doesn't belong in a GSA sale. Any item being surplussed by GSA is to be treated as scrap and federal regulations call for paperwork and identifying labels to be removed from scrap materials before being released from government property. |

Some items sold by GSA list the flight history in the auction description, some items do not. Some items still come with all tags and identification, other do not. I have even seen a few items sold in the last year that had all the scrap paperwork included and taped to the bag. As with so much the government does there is no consistency of policy. |

Thanks for the info guys. My interest lies with those items that have a KSC tag with them. As to the flight manifest, I understand that these can be pulled out of a database listing which missions it flew on. Sounds like they are quite rare. They are fascinating items. Someone is consigning them to Goldbergs with the tags and manifest, yet to hear from them via cS. |

I was just looking through items in my collection and found a space shuttle STS-113 flown Hasselblad data module assembly. Most of the ones I have have no flight info, and a few did. I would be willing to part with this one if you still have and interest. It is in the original ziplock bubble bag with white Case Number label, FCE/EVA Report 1106 sticker, and 911 tag. dated 7/2010. — Dan |
