I have added a wonderful watch coming directly from the Schirra Family Collection. This watch, a Vacheron-Constantin which is arguably one of the finest brand names in the world was presented by Bob Hope to Wally Schirra following the successful flight of Apollo 7. Schirra and Hope were close friends for many years beginning with the Mercury Program. This watch, one of Wally's favorites (per Wally himself), is engraved on it's back, "To Wally, Thanks for the memory...Bob Hope" It's an 18K gold beauty and is being offered for $12,000. This watch is a real keeper, given to a pioneer of space flight by a pioneer of television. It comes with a photo COA signed by Wally Schirra's daughter, Suzanne Schirra.
