I continue my search for a lapel pin I sold at auction years ago. It consisted of small Air Force wings with the letters NACA superimposed on top. If you have ever seen such, please let me know. Thanks. |

Anyone seen a small lapel pin sized set of Air Force wings with the letters NACA superimposed on them? I sold this pin years ago. From an estate in Sparks NV. I would dearly love to buy it back. |

Are you sure they were AF wings and not the original NACA wing logo? NACA pins can be tough to find, most were given to employees at 10 (20,30, etc) years of service and were sterling silver. Did yours looking something like this: This one came from a NACA retiree and isn't for sale. |

I bought in February this year the identical pin to the NACA 75th Wings Patch seen at the bottom here. |

Sorry. The lapel pin I owned looked nothing like these. It was a set of miniature Air Force wings with the shield. On top, superimposed were the initials NACA. I'm guessing they were worn only by pilots. Maybe this was a one off? The search continues. Thanks. |
