I know this is a shot in the dark, however has anyone got a Vance Brand, Joe Kerwin and Paul Weitz WSS (White Space Suit) unsigned litho spare? Please and thanks.

Thanks for the tip. I already have email contact with Jerome and he has none that I mentioned. I know they are quite rare.

Dumb question here, but have you contacted JSC to see if they still have them? My simplistic logic tells me they still print those for the astronauts to take on their speaking tours.

Not a dumb question at all, how do you do that?

The address is posted somewhere here, but you can write any active astronaut at:

NASA/Johnson Space Center
CB/Astronaut Office
Houston, TX 77058

You might want to address it to a specific astronaut, but if not, a member of the staff will open it and point you in the right direction.

I am fairly certain, that due to budget cutbacks, NASA no longer prints or provides portrait lithos for its former astronauts.

I know several of the Apollo astronauts have mentioned that if they want photos, they need to have them printed themselves.

Ben, unfortunately, the WSS lithos are getting harder to find. Paul Weitz WSS is pretty rare, but Brand and Kerwin you will probably have to buy on the secondary market. I was fortunate enough to have Weitz sign two of my WSS lithos at a show a number of years back. He was surprised to see them so they are rare. They do come on Ebay from time to time but I've had success with Jerome in the past.

(If you really want to go for rare lithos, John Young and Thomas Mattingly are really tough fines. I've seen a John Young WSS litho go for over $300 unsigned.)

All times are CT (US)
