I have a large quantity of large US Flag patches (white bordered variant) for sale. These are approximately 3" by 4.625" in size, and were made by AB Emblem. These are the same patches used on US astronaut's flight suits and (for later space shuttle flights) ACES launch and entry suits. Price is $6 each. For shipping in the US, $2 for 1-8, $3 for 9-16. Send me an email if you need more or if you're international. For payment, I accept PayPal (my Paypal address is the same as my contact email). I have a large quantity of these (I'll probably sell 130 or 140) so I don't expect to run out any time soon. I'll post here if I start running low. |

Some of the orders placed Friday night were a bit delayed in shipping as I was out of town, although everything is finally in the mail.I noticed that about 5 to 10% of these patches came with minor manufacturing errors. It's mostly stuff like loose threads along the border, or threads that came out of place, or threads that weren't trimmed correctly. I'm inspecting them before shipment, and making sure that nothing goes out without first having these errors trimmed off. If I encounter any that can not be fixed with simple trimming, I'll probably sell those at reduced price, or if it's something major, scrap them. As I mentioned before, I have lots of these available. So far I've sold 39, so I still have about 90 to 100 for sale. US customers can just go ahead and send payment, and I'll usually get them shipped same-day (if before 4:30 PM CST) or next-day. |

Mine arrived safely in the mail to-day, Wednesday 27th June. Great patches James, but I see they were manufactured in 'China'. |

Yeah, it's sort of ironic. Out of the 150 I ordered, every single one of them was from China (and I believe they're all from the same production run). That's probably why so many of them had minor defects (though as I mentioned earlier, I won't ship any that have unfixed defects).I hope the ones that NASA ordered were at least made in the USA as that'd be awfully ironic to have our astronauts, a symbol of American ingenuity, wearing flags made in China. |
