Now here's a truly unique item; it's an acrylic with a flown artifact from the DC-X Single-Stage-To-Orbit (SSTO) experimental launch vehicle. These acrylics are new - I just had them made using some of the carbon-fiber cloth that was part of the liquid hydrogen fuel tank that I've had for over 10 years, so I know that they've never been available before. The acrylics are available with two different size artifacts: the regular size artifact is approximately 7/8 x 3/8 and the large size artifact is approximately 1 1/4 x 9/16. The artifacts are mounted between two photos showing, on one side, the DC-X in the launch position and, on the other side, the DC-X in-flight. There's a cut-out in the photos where the artifact is mounted so you can see it from both sides. The price for the acrylic with the regular size artifact is $50 and the price for the acrylic with the large size artifact is $60. I can absolutely guarantee that these acrylics will be extremely limited because I don't have a lot of the carbon-fiber cloth. To truly appreciate how great these look you should ask to see the photos, but frankly they look even better 'in person'. If you're interested please send an e-mail to: randyconstantin@yahoo.com Thanks, Randy |

I will be placing an order with the acrylic maker soon, so if you've been thinking about ordering one (or more) of these acrylics please let me know (and be the first on your block to own one!)As I mentioned these will be extremely limited and include a good size piece of flown carbon-fiber cloth from the DC-X hydrogen propellant tank. Photos of the three different versions of the acrylic are available. Thanks, Randy |

I recently received two of these myself and immediately put them up in my display cabinets. They are very striking in their visual appeal. They are also a very unique perspective in the family tree of spaceflight.I am sure everyone has a Liberty Bell 7 acrylic or other similar display piece kicking around but these are truly rare and unique. That is what really takes them up a notch.
