For Sale: Full set (or at least near full set) of Apollo, Skylab, and ASTP Lion Bros. patches. I say "near full set" because there is seemingly always some ultra-rare variant being found by a cSpace member, but this set cannot be lacking very much! The set includes the purple and blue background Apollo 7 patches, the yellow (2 types - 1 with dark blue background and 1 with black) and orange border Apollo 11 patches, The 3-inch Apollo 11 "Bird Watcher," "Mission Support," "Launch Team," and "Recovery Fleet" patches, and both Apollo 12 versions (with and without hidden "12"), as well as the Skylab and ASTP program patches. Also included are three Lion Bros. shuttle patches for STS-4, 8, and 41-C(?). Not sure of the mission for the latter but the crew was Crippen, Scobee, Hart, Van Hoften, and Nelson. There are 29 patches in all. Try finding these one or two at a time! Condition of each is from absolutely mint to very good. The A-8 and one A-11 yellow border were sewn onto a jacket or something at one time but are in very good condition. Scans are available upon request. Since no one has expressed interest in this set of Lion Bros. patches, I have changed the price to "will consider all offers." Getting a set like this takes a lot of time so this is a great opportunity for the patch collector. |
