Jim Irwin usually signed with just an inscription and his name, but occasionally he would add "Apollo 15" and a little crescent moon. If you are interested in such a signature (with no inscription) on a patriotic item with plenty of room for other Apollo astronauts to also sign, please take a look at the item I have on consignment at the R&R auction this month: http://www.rrauction.com/bidtracker_detail.cfm?IN=327 (Then look at their Astronaut Group photos- 308, 309, and 310- go to Vegas, and put $5,000 on red. My gosh those are nice.) Steve |

Thanks for mentioning these, Steve. Good luck with your nice item!Yes those photos you mention are special. The photos themselves and the sigs on them are relatively unfaded compared to most Astronaut Group signed photos one sees. They were obviously kept out of light for decades. Scott | |
